Cosmetic surgery has many side effects and dangers, just like any other surgery. One danger can even be death. Miss Argentina of 1994, Solange Magnano, died from a botched gluteoplasty. Gluteoplasty is the medical term for a buttocks implant. This is usually an outpatient procedure in which the patient gets to go home within four to six hours. This was not the case with Solange.

During a gluteoplasty, fat is removed from other areas of the body and is injected into the buttocks. Solange was a supermodel, though. She had almost no body fat, at all. So, instead of using fat, they used the PMMA plastic. This plastic is normally used on the face. This fluid traveled through Solange’s muscles and into her bloodstream. The fluid, then, filled her lungs and brain. She was transported to a local hospital where she later passed away.

Solange was only trying to boost her career as a model. She never thought that this surgery would take her life away from her and her from her two children. Solange was a beautiful young lady and really needed no alterations done, at all. She was satisfied with her body. She only wanted to further herself in her career. And, it got her no where.

Before anyone decides to have cosmetic surgery, they should research the procedure that they plan on having. All surgeries are different and have different side effects. Although, death can occur with any plastic surgery. Weigh the pros and cons and determine if it is really worth it. A prospective patient should talk to their doctor about the procedure, as well. Any information about what they are fixing to endure will be helpful. If Solange had known all of the dangers, she might not have went through with it. Rest in peace, Solange.

Having a baby is a fascinating experience. From the first initial flutters that you feel deep in your stomach to the on going changes that you witness with your body. Oh and let us not forget about what our hormones do. One day we may be happy, the next extremely sad and wanting to cry the entire day.

One change that many women are shocked to see happen are the way their breasts change. In the beginning of the pregnancy, a woman’s breasts start to be come quite sensitive and in some cases painful. Some women notice that their breasts will increase a full size during the pregnancy.

The most noticeable changes happen to a woman’s breasts after she has had a baby. Our breasts go through a stage of engorgement. This is when the breasts begin to fill with milk in order to feed our newborns with. If you have breast implants you might experience additional sensitivity. This is due to the changes that have occurred to the nerves in a woman’s breasts after she has had breast augmentation performed. It is said that if the implants were inserted through the armpit or under the fold of the breast a woman tends to have less issues after child birth. If the breast implant was inserted through the nipple (areola) it is said that breast feeding can be more painful or in some cases there is a lower production of milk.

If you plan to have children, be sure to discuss everything with your doctor, be sure they are aware that you have breast implants and make sure they know how you had them inserted. This may cause the doctor to keep a closer eye on you during and after your pregnancy. Be sure to do research as well and know the facts it will be a big help.

We’ve all heard of assassinations, such as a literal assassination of a political figure, for example. But there is another kind of assassination that can kill anyone-and you don’t even have to own a gun. No, this type of assassination can done simply with the tongue. It is called character assassination. Character assassination is by its very definition, the assassination or killing of someone’s reputation or character.

Character assassination is very common in the workplace today. It is another form of bullying in the workplace. A person may have gained a good reputation as an honest, reliable employee. But some jealous, unscrupulous individuals may seek ways to destroy the credibility and good reputation that person has worker so hard to build.

So they may spread a rumour about the individual that spreads throughout the company. People who formerly respected them may begin to shun or avoid them. It may even get them in trouble with their superiors. Finally, the facts come to light and it is discovered that the charges made about the individual are groundless and a base lie. But the damage has been done anyway.

This is but just but a typical example of what character assassination and how it works. Some persons go through with it on their jobs every single day; others have been putting up with for years, to their own detriment.

Today, there are organisations or facilities within one’s own company that can help toward that end. Human resources departments can often help the employee deal with such a problem and help them take the necessary steps to remedy or solve the problem for good.

No one has to put up with verbal and mental abuse, harassment, threats of being fired or the like. You can stand up to workplace bullying now!

The use of cosmetic fillers is pretty common in the dermatological field and the plastic surgery field. These professionals are well trained in the workings of the human body and they’ve got a wide scope of the facial structure, its muscles and anatomy. With dermal filler training courses you can obtain this in order to administer Botox to clients in need of the service. Botox training attempts to prepare the professional and provide practice as well as plenty of information to educate the person when it comes to performing the procedure. Training and education are important as they not only provide the correct information for knowing what to do and how to do it, but also how to employ techniques for client care and education. Dermal filler training is available in a lot of different venues and for lots of different kinds of people. Some of these are places that exist only to train medical and health care professionals in the field of aesthetics, for example.

Others offer different medical procedure training than aesthetics but do include it. Instructors vary as well, usually physicians will teach and lead clinical training. Some medical training institutes provide marketing and business classes that further instruct and help you develop a way to succeed with your current education and a way to make your Botox practice more profitable. You don’t necessarily have to be a facial plastic surgeon to administer Botox, but of course but it is great if you do have some medical training. Otherwise finding your client base, a clinic and your supplies might be a bit tough. That does not mean you can’t do it. If you are planning to attend medical school or if you are also a nurse practitioner, you too could benefit from a botox training course. The way the procedure is becoming so widely known and so popular, the more professionals will be needed that have good training.

Once you have secured a surgeon that is experienced and skilled in the your comfortable with the next step is to prepare for your surgery. Your doctor will take a complete medical history from you and older all your questions and what you expect your results to be. He or she will ask you about any previous surgeries or especially any hair loss treatments that you tried. In order to be a good candidate for this type of surgery you need to have healthy and thick hair on the sides and the back of your scalp. The reason for this is this is where the doctor is going to take a hair follicle graphs to hair transplant to the area of your scalp or body beneath it.

Make sure you tell your doctor if you are taking any medications at all. This is extremely important. Your doctor will give you a list of what you need to do before the operation and you should make sure you follow his steps precisely. Usually before any type of surgery even when it is performed in a doctor’s office, Bill SE stop taking any supplements or medications if possible. Of course the obvious is to not do any drinking or drugs seven days before the hair transplant. Alcohol especially bad to drink at least seven days before the operation because he can have a thinning effect on the blood which could hinder your ability to heal. Obviously want to do everything you can to make sure they have the best results but also to make sure that your health and recovery time is optimal.

Every doctor in surgery is different so you might have different grieving additional requirements. Is important you follow all directions and if you have any questions about anything you should ask your doctor. Of course we chose your Dr. you make sure you found one that you can interact with constantly so asking any questions should not be a problem.

It’s not been that long since the introduction of contraception and the advent of lasers in dentistry. Some of us still remember the chocolate milk, sweets and ice-cream that offered little consolation to the pain of drilling without sedation or the poking with cold sharp instruments.

London dentists are taking a new approach to patient care, replacing chocolate milk, sweets and ice-cream with appropriate sedation and anxiety-reducing techniques to treat Dental Phobia. You are not alone when feeling fearful about your trip to the dentist. Many people allow their dental health to deteriorate due to Dental Phobia, often increasing problems with gums, infection and oral disease.

By introducing new methods: such as listening to your concerns and needs, fully explaining dental procedures, being sensitive to embarrassing reasons for dental neglect, offering relaxation and distraction techniques (music, massage, hypnotherapy, scented candles), providing pain-free injection or sedation; experienced practitioners who have undergone extensive training through various dental courses are helping people overcome the fears they have learned from unsympathetic dentists, feeling embarrassed or stereotypes of dentists portrayed on television.

If you have Dental Phobia and are concerned about the well-being of your teeth, try to find an sympathetic practitioner in a dental job, as recommended by others who like you have been afraid of the dentist.

There are lots of people who use home remedies for curing their tooth related problems without knowing whether the problem is due to a wisdom tooth, a gum disease or something else. They just put anything that they get in their kitchen into their mouth. The following are some of the key facts relating to home remedies for toothache:

1. Home remedies are not always the best ways to get rid of your tooth problems. They sometimes do not do anything to bring down the pain and even if they do, then it is only for a particular period. After some time, the pain gets back to you. In order to get a permanent relief, it is better that you consult a doctor and not depend on these home remedies.

2. Herbal remedies for toothache are becoming very common and there are lots of people who are resorting to these alternative therapies.

3. There are lots of kitchen items that can be used to cure toothaches. Some of them are cloves, onion, garlic, lime, wheat grass, asafoetida, pepper, etc. Though most of these items give temporary relief, there are some items like pepper and garlic that also give permanent cure.

4. There are also some diets that could be followed to get rid of toothache or prevent the onset of toothaches. Warm water is a strict ingredient of such special diets.

5. These home remedies are not becoming popular only because of its easy availability but also because of its low cost.

Two of the top situations for stressing us out are divorce and moving house, personally I find the latter much worse, but that’s another story. Yes, moving is a massive upheaval, especially if you have been in one place a long time and accumulated loads of junk. First thing you should do is make sure that you aren’t taking the junk with you. Now a lot of you are probably thinking that that is just common sense, but a staggering amount of people just chuck things in black bags with the intention of sorting it out later. Then they come across these bags years alter when they are moving again!

Be methodical, if you can chuck and pack at the same time. For example, everyone has a kitchen cupboard or two that is harbouring dozens of containers of cleaning stuff with barely a squirt left in them. Get a box labelled kitchen and what you don’t throw away, pack away. Be ruthless, if it’s been lurking there for years and you have bought umpteen replacements since, the likelihood of you using that one again is zilch.

Attack the bathroom in the same way. That ¼ inch of mouthwash that has changed colour it’s been here so long should have been thrown out years ago. The same goes for old and dusty bottles shampoos and shower gels, get rid. Obviously leave out what you will need until you move, don’t get carried away and pack the toothpaste, deodorant etc. You may be pleased with your efficiency, but your family will be very unimpressed when they are hunting through boxes for a toothbrush.

Being organised and methodical will make your house move a lot less stressful.

There are quite a few ways of teeth straightening, aside from traditional braces. Here is a brief summary:

Fixed Orthodontic Braces – This is the most traditional method used by dentists, and uses metal wires and brackets which are fixed onto the teeth.

Lingual Braces – These are similar to traditional braces, but are fitted to the inward facing surfaces of your teeth so they can’t be seen. They work just as well as traditional braces, and are discreet, but they can be very uncomfortable.

Damon Braces – These provide a friction free alternative to traditional braces. They don’t use elastic bands so are less uncomfortable and can work quicker.

Invisalign – Invisalign braces are becoming more and more popular, especially among adults. They are virtually invisible braces, so get rid of any embarrassment the metal brackets might cause. They are shaped like gum shields and can be removed to eat.

Inman Aligners – These are similar to Invisalign, but they do have a visible metal bar. They have limited movement, but work quicker than Invisalign and are much cheaper. They work mainly on the front teeth.

Six-Month Smiles – This is a new treatment which focuses on moving just the teeth that are visible when you smile. For this reason, treatments that would normally take over a year, sometimes two, take only six months. The braces are tooth-coloured, so they are quite discreet.

Veneers – Veneers don’t actually straighten your teeth, but they can go over your crooked teeth to give the appearance of straight ones. Obviously it’s a much quicker solution than orthodontics, and it also improves the shape and colour of your teeth. However, some of your tooth will need to be removed to fit them, so they are a permanent solution and will need to be replaced regularly for the rest of your life.

All of these treatments are available in the UK at varying costs. Some Kent dentists will offer more treatments than others though, as some of the treatments are less widely available.

Hollywood smiles and we all want one as well, a bright, white set of straight teeth would be a real God Send to most of us, but in the past it has been too costly to achieve. A new innovation has become part of the dentists tool box of tricks to give us that smile makeover, and at a price that won`t break the bank. It is the Lumineer and it has revolutionised the smile makeover industry. Unlike teeth whitening the veneer can be used to hide a lot of our teeth defects, whereas a teeth whitening treatment will just whiten our molars. The new version of the traditional veneer needs less work to fit as well, and it is this that has helped to bring down the cost. It comes in an ultra thin, yet really tough and hard wearing version, it is called the contact lens version as it is as thin as one, and can be fitted in minutes like a contact lens. The tooth usually needs a fair amount of enamel taken off to blend a veneer into it, basically a veneer is only possible by taking off an amount of enamel, and then cementing that amount back in the form of the veneer which is the same thickness. They can last anything from 3-15 years depending on the thickness, but they can only be replaced by another veneer, which has never been a problem. The Lumineer is much better because the patented ceramic formula is much harder wearing; this gives it a bigger life span and allows the cosmetic dentist to make a thinner and wider veneer for gaps. The dentist will first take a mould of the tooth and from this the veneer is made, then they may have to roughen the tooth front up a slight bit, this is to ensure a good adhesion that will withstand the everyday use of the veneer on food etc. The glue they use is also a new formula and this is cured into drying by the use of an intense light source, it is complete in seconds and lasts for up to around 20 years according to tests carried out. A smile makeover will not just give you a great smile, it can also have a morale and confidence affect on you, as when we smile we exude an air of positive attitude that other people notice.
